Siren Cowl Pattern - Digital Download
We are so excited to be carrying this exclusive cowl pattern by Jenny Noto of @Wanded527 in our shop!
Jenny is a talented young designer who creates some of the most unique and yummy designs I've ever had the pleasure to knit. Also, her patterns are detailed with photos and notations that will make certain you will complete your project beautifully and successfully.
- If you would like to purchase the hand-dyed yarn used to make this cowl you can here. It takes one skein of the Classy Merino to complete the cowl.
- For extra luxury, you can add a strand of Billy Kid Silk to the pattern part of the cowl, leaving the ribbed edges free.
She tells us that the Siren Hat & Cowl patterns were inspired in part by this passage in Newton Scamander's, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them":
"The oldest recorded merpeople were known as sirens (Greece) and it is in warmer waters that we find the beautiful mermaids more frequently depicted in Muggle literature and painting. The Selkies of Scotland and the Merrows of Ireland are less beautiful, but they share that love of music which is common to all merpeople ."
Please note that patterns are excluded from all discounts.
